As usual, we are excited to start a collaboration and we are happy to announce that Triptic Studio is econet romania’s new partner. Triptic Studio participated in the 8th edition – Cities of Tomorrow – New Waves of Urban Migration, organized in September by AHK Romania, and following the project competition, won with the unique project, Green Spots, the first place in the Business environment category and the grand prize – econet romania’s partnership for one year. 

The project of Triptic Studio, Green Spots, presents an innovative solution in the field of smart city, made in Romania, which is based on renewable energy, more precisely on solar energy. The three founders, Aurel Basuc, Adrian Tutuianu and Cristian Danciu wanted to create a sustainable product that would contribute to the development of modern cities and simplify and improve the lives of their inhabitants, giving them the possibility to charge their phone or tablet by connecting it to a urban furniture. The use of solar charging stations has a positive impact on the environment and on the city, as they also have the possibility to be adapted to function as billboards or with the help of banks – as a seating area. Green Spots has so far implemented five charging points in major Romanian cities and is currently negotiating the entrance on new international markets.
