The representatives of the companies and the public authorities in Romania are invited to take part from to one of the most prominent events dedicated to the smart cities in Europa, Smart City Barcelona.
As part of this information delegation, organised by the German-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the participants will visit the Smart City Expo World Congress fair and several cutting-edge projects in the Barcelona metropolitan area.
These include 22@ Barcelona’s Innovation District, one of the most dynamic economic hubs in the city’s metropolitan area. Another proposed project to visit is Barcelona’s Supercomputing-Center, a public research centre for emerging technologies.
Smart City Expo World Congress is a flagship event for the smart cities’ technologies. It is an opportunity to discovering best practice examples and identifying innovative technologies in the areas such as: enabling technologies, energy and environment, mobility, governance and finance, inclusive and collaborative cities, infrastructure and constructions, safety, blue economy.
The event offers visitors the opportunity to get in touch with exhibiting companies in the field of smart technologies, to be up to date with novelties in the field and to participate in the thematic conference programme.
