By 2030, the EU wants to achieve far more CO2 savings than the previously targeted 40 percent CO2 savings compared to 1990 – the member states and the European Parliament agreed on this at the end of 2020. The “Green Deal” envisages that in 2050 the EU should be the first climate-neutral association of states in the world. By June 2021, the Commission will review all relevant policy instruments and, if necessary, propose a revision to achieve additional greenhouse gas emissions reductions. Many of these changes affect companies directly, while others have a decisive impact on the economic environment.
In this context we will organize a series of events dedicated to the hot topics of the moment regarding Green Deal.
Green Deal Industry will take place on the 26th of May and will approach the following subjects:
- Industry for a clean and circular economy
- Supporting industry to innovate
- Investing in environmentally-friendly technologies
- Financing the Green Deal
- Dialogue between stakeholders
