Recycling and waste management are topics that concern us and which we have actively supported through our initiatives regarding green solutions and technologies, as well as the Romanian-German cooperation in this field.

Waste management is a real challenge in Romania, a topic of intense discussion and debate for politicians and companies, given the ambitious recycling targets and related sanctions in case of non-compliance. In this context, as well as that of the Covid-19 pandemic, which further accentuated the need for urgent reforms and investments in this field, we also want to contribute to facilitating a faster exchange of know-how and technologies between representatives of Romanian and German companies.

In this context AHK Romania will initiate a business delegation for German SMEs – that will contain an information and training event, B2B matchmaking and visits to relevant facilities, companies / projects. The delegation is planned to take place from July 12th to 16th in Bucharest, Romania.

The online/onsite B2B-meetings will take place on July 13th, 2021, between 10:00 and 13:00.

The initiative to expand the activity of German companies in Romania is part of the program of the Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy (BMWi) for accessing new markets for German SMEs and is addressed to Romanian and German companies interested in developing bilateral business in waste management and recycling and aims to promote German systems & products in this field.
